Hold please.

I spent the larger portion of today echoing yesterday, hurry up and wait.

In an effort to solve the drawn out problem of my internet connection I have been at my place on the phone with customer care, waiting for them to call me back, waiting for them to send someone out, waiting while they worked away. And now waiting while they send out an Apple specialist.

Who knew it would be such a hassle to change a password.

So it goes.

While waiting I did laundry in a bucket in my sink. I successfully washed and hung the following:

5 pairs of boxers
1 pair of shorts
2 short sleeve collared shirts
1 long sleeve collared shit
7 socks

For lunch I had a bowl of Kellogg's Corn Flakes with Strawberry flavoring and condensed mild. Yum. All the while listening to Roky Erickson. Thank you Cameron Rumford.

3.5 liters a day keeps dehydration away.

The laundry is nearly dry now. I think I will go pull it off the lines.

Three hours later:

It's raining. Hard. Probably one of the hardest rains I have ever seen. My alley has turned to a river. Lightning too. I can only see flashes due to the wall of building that surrounds me in every direction. The power also threatened to go out.

That is all.

Thanks for all the posts Christian!
It made very educational and entertaining reading (and viewing) and I feel so much more "caught up" on your very eventful days (and nights). And HURRAY! for the tech support that finally, finally came through.
Love, Mom
